Terms And Conditions
BOOKINGS:
Intended journey/events should be booked with as much notice as possible. Deposits are due within 7 days of booking and are non refundable. If White Star cancels, a full refund will be given and no further liability will be accepted.
TIMINGS:
White Star cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses as a result of any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, causing delay to the journey, i.e. traffic, breakdown of vehicle, etc. At time of booking, times and dates will be confirmed. Any changes must be advised immediately. White Star will then issue a revised booking, and if appropriate, a revised costing. Any extra drop offs that customers request on the event day will be charged for.
PAYMENTS:
Balance of the remaining amount to be paid to the driver prior to departure in cash. If paying by cheque, account holder’s address to be written on reverse of cheque and received by White Star seven days prior to event to allow for cheque clearance. Payment is for transport only. Account customers will receive an invoice within 7 days of completion of the booking.Please make cheques payable to White Star.
SMOKING:
All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking.
FOOD AND DRINK:
The consumption of food and alcoholic drinks are forbidden in our vehicles.
ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR:
It is within the driver’s discretion to refuse passengers to travel in any of our vehicles if they are abusive or use threatening behavior.
DAMAGE:
Any damage to the vehicles will be charged accordingly, plus any out of pocket expenses, e.g. loss of earnings etc. Valeting charges of £60.00 will be incurred for any illness or soilage in the vehicle. This payment is due immediately.
LOSS OF PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
White Star accepts no responsibility for any loss of personal belongings whilst traveling in any vehicles.
DATA PROTECTION:
To comply with the Data Protection Act 1984, we must inform you that your name and address is held on our computerised mailing list. It is used exclusively for White Star and will not be given to any persons outside of White Star.
LAW:
These conditions and all other express and implied terms of the contract shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
